The NSW government is planning to slash the housing project
on Sydney’s flood plain. The development project to build extra homes on high-risk
flood plains in NSW is likely to be scrapped across New South Wales as the
state government has axed the rezoning of land covering the outskirts of the capital
city of NSW.
The decision is backed by a report by the state government that
highlights that building houses would be a risk to life in case of a mass
evacuation. It is to be noted that the flood crisis is a challenge and worsens the
